project details

Client: Schnitzer West
Background: Schnitzer wanted a short DVD about their new development: a thoroughly modern building in the heart of 'classic downtown Seattle', where the last new construction was in the 1970s. The tone is all-business, but with a few interesting flourishes. Note the time-lapse shot at :35 and the live floorplate layouts at 2:20.   My role: Concept, Art Direction
That’s pronounced, “Gore, Al”
After more than a decade of graphic design, strategic development, and art direction under my belt, I continue to live and breathe the craft. You may have seen my work in Communication Arts, The Seattle Show, GD USA, or in books from HOW and Rockport. I also took third place in the 1983 Kirkland Breakdance Championships.
Print? Interactive? Identity? Yes!
Whether you're looking for a ground-up build of your website, a refresh of your identity system, or simply some ideas about telling the world how great you are - my approach is the same: smart, elegant work that solves real business problems. That's all there is to my pitch. Give me a call or shoot me an e-mail. I'm ready when you are.
