project details

Client: Pike Place Merchants' Association
Background: Part of a campaign pitch my agency did for the Pike Place Merchants' Association. The idea was to attract Seattleites in the downtown core to visit the market at lunchtime and remind them that it's not a tourist trap, but a vibrant part of our city.   My role: Art direction, design
That’s pronounced, “Gore, Al”
After more than a decade of graphic design, strategic development, and art direction under my belt, I continue to live and breathe the craft. You may have seen my work in Communication Arts, The Seattle Show, GD USA, or in books from HOW and Rockport. I also took third place in the 1983 Kirkland Breakdance Championships.
Print? Interactive? Identity? Yes!
Whether you're looking for a ground-up build of your website, a refresh of your identity system, or simply some ideas about telling the world how great you are - my approach is the same: smart, elegant work that solves real business problems. That's all there is to my pitch. Give me a call or shoot me an e-mail. I'm ready when you are.
