project details

Client: Alaska Communications Systems
Background: ACS asked us to come up with two :30 spots with severe limits on time and money. We chose to let the human stories do most of the work, with quick 'napkin sketch' illustrations adding a touch of whimsy. Both were shot on the same morning and post was done in three days. We came in under budget and early, and the response was categorically positive.   My role: Concept, art direction, copywriting

That’s pronounced, “Gore, Al”
After more than a decade of graphic design, strategic development, and art direction under my belt, I continue to live and breathe the craft. You may have seen my work in Communication Arts, The Seattle Show, GD USA, or in books from HOW and Rockport. I also took third place in the 1983 Kirkland Breakdance Championships.
Print? Interactive? Identity? Yes!
Whether you're looking for a ground-up build of your website, a refresh of your identity system, or simply some ideas about telling the world how great you are - my approach is the same: smart, elegant work that solves real business problems. That's all there is to my pitch. Give me a call or shoot me an e-mail. I'm ready when you are.
